Shawn Vick has taken the role of CEO for Global Jet Capital with responsibility for overall strategy of the company. Vick, who has 30 years of experience in corporate aviation, has been involved with Global Jet since its launch in 2014, previously serving as executive director and chairman of the executive committee. While chairman of Global Jet, he helped oversee the rapid growth of the company as it was acquiring GE's portfolio of 300 aircraft, valued at about $2.5 billion.
He has also been and will remain a partner at AE Industry Partners, which is focused on investment in commercial aerospace and business aviation and power generation. AEI has raised funds for co-investment vehicles, including Global Jet.
Vick also has held senior positions at Gulfstream, Bombardier, British Aerospace, Hawker Beechcraft and Landmark Aviation.
