Jet Support Services, Inc. (JSSI) is continuing to build its leadership team in a move the company says will position it to expand its reach and keep up with the growth the company has experienced.
It promoted Joy Nebel to senior v-p of client and administrative services, expanding her duties to encompass sales, human resources and marketing, in addition to her responsibilities overseeing client relationships. Nebel previously held those roles in the telecommunications and software industries, where she spent 20 years with companies including Juniper Networks, SMobile and MCI.
JSSI brought in former NetJets executive Don Strench to serve as v-p of financial planning and analysis. Strench most recently was v-p of fleet planning and acquisitions for NetJets and also held various financial roles with Amoco Corp., American Airlines and AirNet Systems before he founded Transaction Partners.
Also, James Stovall was promoted to the newly created position of v-p of pricing and program development. Stovall, who joined JSSI in 2010 as a senior analyst, last year took on the new duties of developing new engine and airframe products. He also has a background in maintenance, serving as director of maintenance for a large Part 135 operator that had a fleet of 26 business jet types.
“As JSSI’s business continues to evolve and expand, it is critical that we structure our organization to meet the demands of the exceptional rate of growth we’ve experienced over the last several years and that we forecast into the future,” said JSSI president and CEO Neil Book. “These new roles for Joy, Jim and Don are key to accomplishing our goals.”
Noting that JSSI is experiencing its best sales year yet in 2016, already surpassing all of 2015, Book added, “We continue to invest in the leadership team here at JSSI and it's paid huge dividends.”
