Signature Flight Support, which operates the industry’s largest network of FBOs, with more than 200 locations worldwide, increased its footprint in Latin America with the announcement that Central Charter De Colombia at Bogota’s El Dorado International Airport has become the latest service provider to join the BBA Aviation subsidiary as a Signature Select member.

The facility offers a 3,800-sq-ft executive terminal with a pair of passenger lounges, a pilot’s lounge with refreshments, computers, televisions, Wi-Fi and two snooze rooms equipped for overnight stays. Immigration, customs and permit processing are available at the FBO. Central Charter also offers aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul capability through its FAA Part 145 repair station, as well as aircraft charter and management services. The company, which has been in operation for more than 36 years, is an authorized service facility for Textron Aviation (Cessna and Beechcraft).

“We see Latin America as a key region for continued expansion,” noted Signature president and COO Maria Sastre. “Colombia’s growing economy makes Bogota attractive to our customers, and we are delighted to welcome Central Charter de Colombia to our global network.”

Under the Signature Select program, independent FBOs have all the benefits of the network, such as global sales and marketing, while maintaining their existing name and brand. Locations can participate in Signature’s Status loyalty and TailWins rewards programs, as well as the chain’s training programs.
