Jet Support Services, Inc. (JSSI) is now offering engine coverage for the new Pratt & Whitney Canada PW210S turboshaft that powers the Sikorsky S-76D helicopter. The hourly cost maintenance provider also announced parts-only coverage for the airframe of the MD Explorer.
The coverage for the PW210S engine falls under JSSI’s Premium Program, and includes scheduled and unscheduled events as well as life-limited components. The coverage offers removal and replacement options, off-site AOG logistical support, shipping, and parts and labor for routine inspections. By making one payment each year, Sikorsky S-76D operators also have the ability to enroll in the JSSI Unscheduled Engine Program that provides full coverage for unscheduled maintenance.
The MD Explorer airframe parts-only program offers three coverage options for avionics, life-limited components and on-condition components. Each is available for an hourly rate. Owners and operators can work with JSSI to add specific mission equipment in order to tailor the program to their helicopters.
U.S.-based JSSI already offers tip-to-tail, engine, airframe and APU coverage for more than 350 aircraft models. This includes more than 75 helicopters.
