Inairvation, a provider of cabin upgrades, and Flying Colours, a provider of heavy maintenance, completions, modifications and retrofits for business jets, have started work on their first joint cabin upgrade project, a Bombardier Global 5000 interior. The project will install a Nice HD CMS/IFE system and newly developed ergonomic RH/LH side ledges integrated with an advanced CMS user interface.
Inairvation, a joint venture between Lufthansa Technik and F/List, will deliver the components as a pre-produced kit for installation, along with other interior finishes and upgrades provided by Flying Colours at its Peterborough facility during a heavy maintenance check.
According to Sean Gillespie, executive vice president of Flying Colours, the client appreciated the strength of the group of partners, the cost efficiency and the reduced down time achieved by the pre-engineered approach.
