Ruag Doubles Up for C-checks on Two Dassault Falcons
The Geneva company extended its schedule to create capacity for the two projects.
Ruag Aviation's hangar is buzzing, as the Geneva company wraps up two simultaneous C-check inspections on Falcons: a 2000 Classic and a 900B. Photo provided by Ruag shows a 900 (foreground), a 7X (center) and a 50.

Ruag Aviation is wrapping up two simultaneous C-check inspections on Dassault Falcons: a Falcon 2000 Classic belonging to a private customer, and a government-operated Falcon 900B. The projects could take up to 2,500 working hours over six weeks of downtime.

The Falcon 900B is now on its third C-check, meaning that an inspection of the landing gear is also on the slate. The Falcon 2000 Classic, on its second C-check, requires a full overhaul of its landing gear. The work is being carried out in Geneva. Once the Falcon 2000 Classic has been reassembled, it will be ferried to Munich-Oberpfaffenhofen Airport, where it will be repainted.

To create the extra capacity required for this major project, Ruag Aviation in Geneva introduced double shifts from Monday to Thursday. Customers can also have cabin refurbishment, cockpit upgrades or painting performed during routine maintenance checks, Ruag said.
