Jet East Corporate Aviation has opened a service center facility at Trenton-Mercer Airport in Trenton, N.J. The 30,000-sq-ft hangar doubles the site’s under-roof capacity and accommodates more aircraft models. In addition, the expansion will result in 20 new jobs at the site in the coming years. Approximately 10 positions are expected to be added this year.
Francis John, Jet East's CEO, noted that the new hangar allows the company to focus on heavy inspections for clients with midsize jets. Jet East Corporate Aviation's maintenance services include regional AOG support, airframe inspections and avionics installations. On-site technicians are certified to work on Hawkers, Gulfstreams, Citations and Embraers. Jet East, which also has locations at Teterboro Airport and in Philadelphia, is an authorized service center for Honeywell and Embraer Executive Jets.
