Hong Kong-based TAG Aviation Asia (TAA) is launching a new program for employees wanting to become professional pilots. TAA Aviator is a fully sponsored cadet pilot program at Flight Training Adelaide (FTA) in Australia that will prepare beginners to become commercial pilots. They will also earn an instructor rating and be given the opportunity to serve as a flight instructor at FTA while building flight hours before returning to TAA to fly its managed aircraft fleet.
“At TAG Aviation Asia, we believe in investing in the future of our people,” said COO Kobus Swart. TAA (Booth H129), which is part of the Europe-based TAG Aviation group, is marking its 10th anniversary this year.
Globally, TAG Aviation manages a fleet of more than 120 aircraft, of which 50 are available for charter. The company also provides maintenance and has FBOs in Geneva and Farnborough, near London.
