Fredericksburg, Va.-based Zenith Aviation, an aircraft parts supply and logistics support company, is now an authorized distributor for Hutchinson Aerospace and Barry Controls, which was acquired in its entirety by Hutchinson Worldwide in 2000. The agreement allows Zenith to represent Hutchinson’s line of vibration isolators, engine mount systems, APU mounting systems, electrical harnesses and other engine components for commercial, regional and general aviation aircraft. Zenith and Hutchinson are offering customers new, exchange, overhauled and repaired parts. PMA mounting parts are also available for non-Hutchinson OEM mounts.
Zenith Aviation was formed in 2002 when the company was awarded the marketing and distribution rights for the Dornier 328 and 328JET. Since 2012, Zenith has invested more than $3 million to increase the size of its secure, climate-controlled warehouse, bringing the total size to 50,000 sq ft. The facility has a parts automated inventory storage and retrieval system to improve storage capabilities and operational efficiencies. The company has more than 46,000 line items currently in stock for the Dornier 328/328JET and 228, as well as for Bombardier, Embraer, Agusta, ATR, Bell Helicopter and Hawker Beechcraft aircraft. Zenith is also experienced in providing third-party logistics support for companies that require turnkey storage solutions for their parts and supply needs.
