Embraer Realigns North American Executive Jets Sales
David Armstrong will lead the sales organization, with Ryan Scott steering the Eastern U.S. and Cameron Gowans the Western U.S.

Embraer Executive Jets realigned its sales team to increase its footprint in the North American market, the company announced Tuesday. David Armstrong will lead the team as senior vice president of North American sales. Armstrong steps into the position following the departure in May of Robert Knebel, who had been vice president of North American sales. Armstrong joined Embraer in 2013 after a holding a series of sales positions with Cessna Aircraft and Flexjet.

Joining Armstrong on the leadership team is Ryan Scott, who was promoted to vice president of sales for the Eastern U.S., and Cameron Gowans, who becomes vice president of sales for the Western U.S. Scott, one of the original team members of Embaer’s Executive Jets division, has served with Embraer for 25 years in product support, sales engineering, marketing and sales positions. Gowans, meanwhile, has 25 years of aviation experience in total, eight of which are at Embraer.

They lead a team of 10 regional sales directors covering the U.S. New to that team are Timon Huber, regional sales director for the Southeast, and Dylan Haynie, regional sales director for Texas. Huber moves over to the Executive Jets division after four years with Embraer Commercial Aviation. Haynie previously held sales and legal services positions with fractional provider Flexjet.
