Thales Brings In New Chairman In Leadership Shakeup
Thales COO becomes CEO, while a Dassault director will take the role of chairman.

The Thales board of directors selected new leadership after acting chairman and CEO Philippe Logak and independent director Steve Gentili resigned.  The board on December 23 named Patrice Caine and Henri Proglio directors.  Caine initially will serve as chairman and CEO, but Proglio will become chairman long-term. The appointments, subject to general meeting approval, were welcomed by Thales’s two main shareholders, the French State and Dassault Aviation, Thales said. Proglio, a director of Dassault, most recently was chairman and CEO of EDF. Caine had been Thales senior executive v-p and COO.
