Embraer is readying the first U.S.-bound Legacy 500 midsize business jet for delivery this month.  The delivery follows U.S. certification in October and the recent graduation of the initial training class in St. Louis.  The 500 received type certification from Brazil’s ANAC in August and the first aircraft was handed over to a Brazilian customer October 10.  Embraer also this month secured EASA approval and plans to begin deliveries to Europe in first quarter 2015.
