Best Fly and Corjet Maintenance Team for Angola MRO
Angola to benefit from joint MRO project.
José Ramón Barriocanal, Gestair CEO (Gestair owns Corjet Maintenance); Nuno Pereira, managing partner of Best Fly Maintenance; Carlos Carbó, chairman of Corjet Maintenance; and Jorge Molar, managing partner of Best Fly Maintenance, celebrate the deal.

Luanda, Angola-based Best Fly Group has formed a partnership with Spanish company Corjet Maintenance (owned by Gestair) to create start-up company Best Fly Maintenance. Best Fly Maintenance will benefit from Corjet Maintenance’s EASA Part 145 knowledge and experience, enabling the newly formed business to offer maintenance solutions in Angola and the surrounding region.

Best Fly Maintenance will effectively become an extension of Corjet Maintenance in Africa, offering equivalent aircraft maintenance capabilities. Corjet will also provide human resources and training programs to Best Fly maintenance engineers and technicians in Luanda and at its main base in Madrid.

“This is the first time an MRO agreement of this type has been developed and implemented to bolster executive aviation in Angola,” said Carlos Carbó, president of Corjet Maintenance.

Best Fly Maintenance will be able to work on aircraft registered anywhere in the world and perform a significant number of maintenance tasks that until now have been handled abroad because of the lack of qualified service centers in Angola.
