Gulfstream Driving Growth at General Dynamics
Gulfstream Aerospace had a banner year in 2013. According to full-year results from parent company General Dynamics, the aerospace division, which includes Gulfstream and Jet Aviation, saw revenues climb 17.4 percent year-over-year to $8.118 billion, while profits soared 65 percent to $1.416 billion. Gulfstream delivered 144 completed jets (121 large-cabin and 23 midsize jets) last year versus 94 (83 large-cabin and 11 midsize) in 2012. Meanwhile, backlog was boosted in the fourth quarter mainly by rising orders for the G450 and G550. (Photo: Gulfstream Aerospace)
