New Terminal Debuts at Providence

Northstar Aviation, the lone service provider at Providence, Rhode Island’s Theodore Francis Green International Airport, has just completed its new 5,000-sq-ft terminal. The new facility, which triples the size of its former passenger terminal, features first-class lobby and VIP passenger area; three complimentary audiovisual- equipped conference rooms, the largest seating 16 people; available office services; onsite car rental; an upgraded pilot lounge with snooze room; flight-planning room with WSI weather; pilots kitchen; a gym with showers; laundry service; free Wi-Fi throughout the entire facility; and courtesy van. Twenty-four-hour U.S. Customs clearance is available at the FBO with prior appointment.

Faced with a packed 10,000-sq-ft hangar, the Avfuel-branded FBO is negotiating to add 20,000 sq ft of storage space. Northstar, which sees approximately 300 operations a month, is also awaiting final TSA approval under the DASSP plan for flights into Washington Reagan National Airport.
