Lufthansa Technik is offering a new product bundle for life-cycle support of large private and business aircraft. The service packages include access to a pool of highly qualified engineers and mechanics, worldwide material support through the Lufthansa Technik logistics network, and assured support in case of AOG incidents and other emergencies.
“Our customers will get 24/7 global ‘free of charge’ trouble-shooting hotline support for up to ten man hours as an airside assistance, regardless of where the aircraft operates,” said Walter Heerdt, senior vice president of marketing and sales. “This means that after a signature of a stand-by support agreement, no further fees or charges will apply until the customer requests additional services at prior agreed prices and conditions.”
The maintenance control center handles engineering and troubleshooting questions, while the 24/7 AOG call center gives engineering consultation and advises on the interpretation of technical documentation.
Optional services include Camo support, cabin interior refurbishment, government authorities coordination, engine services, component MRO services and cabin upgrades and refurbishment.
