Duncan Aviation recently certified the installation of an L-3 Communications Avionics Systems GH-3900.2 electronic standby instrument system (including a Securaplane standby instruments backup battery) for the Dassault Falcon 2000 and 2000EX. The installation was done in conjunction with a Pro Line 4 to 21 upgrade. “This installation and certification demonstrates the advantage our organization designation authorization team provides. Application to certificate issuance was accomplished in just 53 days,” said Duncan Aviation's avionics sales rep Chad Ostertag. “This STC upgrades existing standby instrumentation from the original three units into one easy-to-read display and gives Falcon 2000 operators the last piece of glass for the popular Pro Line 21 retrofit.”
