MNG Jet Named GE CF34-3 ASC

GE Aviation has named Turkey’s MNG Jet an authorized service center for the CF34-3, which powers the large-cabin Bombardier Challengers (excluding the original 600 series). With this agreement, MNG Jet can perform line maintenance inspections and removal and replacement of engines and engine components. This authorization also allows MNG Jet to provide GE’s OnPoint solution and new-engine warranty support. “MNG Jet has been expanding its maintenance capabilities and this authorized service center agreement will enable our CF34 operators in Turkey to have support nearby,” said Brad Mottier, vice president and general manager of GE Aviation’s Business and General Aviation organization. MNG Jet specializes in business jet operations and maintenance at its Sabiha Gokcen Airport facility in Istanbul and other stations requested by customers. The MRO has SHY 145/JAR 145, EASA 145, UAE GCAA CAR 145, Cayman Islands OTAR 145 and Bermuda DCA 145 maintenance organization approvals to perform line and base maintenance for the Challenger 601, 604, 605; Global Express/5000; and Hawker 700, 750, 800, 800XP, 850XP, 900XP. MNG Jet is also an authorized service center for Honeywell, Bombardier and Hawker products.
