Precision Aviation Group (PAG) has expanded its Atlanta headquarters facility for the fourth time. PAG offers MRO capabilities on more than 10,000 products, including accessories, avionics, hydraulics, instruments, NDT, starter/generators and wheels/brakes.
âWhen we went into business about 20 years ago we started with a 5,000-square-foot facility specializing in accessories, avionics and starter/generators. By 2000 we had grown to 27,000 sq ft by continuously expanding our customer base and therefore increasing the MRO throughput of our shops. In spite of a difficult global economic climate we have been fortunate to continue building our revenues, capabilities, MRO throughput and employee ranks. This continued growth necessitated an additional expansion that increased our Atlanta facility by 20 percent to more than 80,000 square feet,â Ketan Desai, v-p of sales and marketing, told AIN.
The most recent expansion allowed the MRO to expand its wheel and brake shop. PAG provides MRO and supply chain services for fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft through its companies: Atlanta-based Precision Heliparts, Gardner Aviation Services and Precision Accessories and Instruments; Surrey, B.C.-based Precision Heliparts Canada and Precision Accessories & Instruments Canada; and Aero Technology of Long Beach, Calif.
