Jet Aviation St. Louis Expands Mobile Maintenance Fleet
Jet Aviation recently added three customized service vehicles at its St. Louis facility.

Jet Aviation recently added three customized service vehicles, bringing the total number available in the U.S. to five. The other two are located at Teterboro and Boston/Bedford.

“Our mobile maintenance service vehicles provide the same quality of service that our customers get when they are in our service centers; it’s simply packaged ‘to go,'” said Chuck Krugh, senior vice president of Jet Aviation St. Louis.

The trucks provide on-site maintenance services for AOG situations, including engine and avionics troubleshooting and non-destructive testing. NDT services include ultrasonic, eddy current, bond and magnetic particle testing. X-ray inspections can be performed after obtaining required permits and permissions from the state in which the inspections will be performed.

“The Jet Response mobile maintenance service in St. Louis began as a single cargo van and has matured into a fleet of three customized vehicles. All are fully stocked with tools and consumables. The mobile units are based in St. Louis but dispatched throughout the country during peak seasons. The three trucks offer flexible combinations between coast-to-coast mobility and local support for our customers,” Krugh told AIN.
