Avtrak Adds Reporting Feature To Meet Mexican Regs

Avtrak has announced a new reporting feature for its GlobalNet maintenance tracking system designed to meet Mexican DGAC compliance requirements. Similar to most documentation in aviation, the GlobalNet system is in English; however, Mexico’s DGAC requires the format of an operator’s airworthiness directive and service bulletin reports to be in Spanish.

“Many of our customers told us that previously they were able to pull the information from our system but it was time consuming to put it in the format required by Mexico,” Andrew Douglas, Avtrak’s international sales manager, told AIN. “Since we already had the information we just set up the report to meet DGAC requirements. Our customers in Mexico still purchase access to the same Avtrak Global Net System; however, specifically for those customers we have an additional report that complies with DGAC requirements, and we provide that at no extra charge. Our customers have told us that this increased their efficiency and drastically reduced time spent generating the report.”
