Jet Aviation has launched a global refurbishment program “to renew and harmonize the look and feel” at its FBOs and major maintenance facilities worldwide. The makeover will start with Jet Aviation’s Geneva, Zurich and Basel facilities in Switzerland, focusing on the lobbies and customer and crew lounges. By 2015, all of its FBOs and major MROs worldwide will be updated.
The company plans to integrate the same style of reception desk, surface textures, colors and flooring in the lobby areas of all its FBOs, while the customer and crew lounges will have similar colors, furniture and fixtures. The Geneva and Basel facilities are slated to complete the enhancement and expansion process by year-end, followed by the Zurich location early next year.
“These facility upgrades will provide maximum style and comfort to ensure a premium customer experience,” said senior vice president of group marketing and communications Heinz Aebi. “Regardless of which Jet Aviation facility customers visit worldwide, they’ll recognize the Jet Aviation design.”
In other news at the company, Jet Aviation has launched a new fuel sales service for its FBOs in the Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia regions. Using its global purchasing power to negotiate a better fuel price with World Fuel Services, Jet Aviation is able to pass “significant cost savings” on to FBO and MRO customers visiting its facilities in these regions.
