Associated Aircraft Group (AAG), a Sikorsky Aircraft subsidiary specializing in S-76 operations on the East Coast, has marked â40,000 hours of safe flyingâ in 17 years. AAG president Scott Ashton emphasized that his company has implemented a safety management system âthat encompasses a comprehensive culture of risk management and safety promotion and policies.â
AAG lays claim to being the only executive helicopter company to own and operate an FAA Part 145 maintenance facility.
It currently operates three S-76Bs and five S-76Cs and expects to take delivery of an S-76D in the third quarter of next year âas a fractional aircraft,â a spokesperson told AIN.
In addition to an S-76 fractional ownership program, AAG offers charter flights and full management. An Eclipse light jet will be available for charter through an agreement with the operator, North American Jet, in this yearâs second quarter.
AAG employs 18 full-time pilots. It has bases at Teterboro, Dutchess County (both near New York) and Chester County (Philadelphia) airports.
