MyTechnic Receives CAAC Approval
MyTechnic has a 165,700-sq-ft MRO in Istanbul where it can provide maintenance services for as many as 12 aircraft at a time.

Istanbul, Turkey-based Teknik Servis Sanayi ve Ticaret (MyTechnic) has received approval from the General Administration of Aviation of China to provide maintenance services for China-registered aircraft, engines and components. MyTechnic is located at Sabiha Gokcen International Airport on the Asian side of Istanbul, making it readily accessible to operators in both Asia and Europe. Established in 2008, the MRO has a 165,700-sq-ft hangar bay, 267,000 sq ft of shops, office and storage and a 64,500-sq-ft engine shop. With 670 employees, MyTechnic is the largest aircraft maintenance and repair facility in the region and can work on as many as 12 aircraft at a time. MyTechnic provides maintenance services for several airlines and leasing companies located in the Middle East, CIS, Europe and Asia. In early 2011 MyTechnic became a part of the HNA Group of China, a conglomerate in aviation, logistics, retail and airport services.
