Sikorsky and Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) are discussing the possibility of jointly designing and developing a new light twin in the 8,000-pound-class. TAI would take the lead role in design, while Sikorsky would just support the program. The new helicopter would fill a gap in Sikorsky’s lineup, between the S-434 and the S-76.
