Duncan Aviation Launches Phased Interior Mx
Duncan Aviation has introduced a phased interior maintenance program.

Duncan Aviation has introduced a phased interior maintenance program. According to a spokesman for the MRO, the program is designed to help operators plan for interior projects while increasing the longevity of a functional, aesthetically pleasing interior for their passengers. Under the plan, an interior refurbishment can be phased over several years by synchronizing various levels of interior refurbishment with annual and routine aircraft maintenance events. “Phasing an interior allows an operator to reduce overall downtime and costs,” said Nate Darlington, an interior modifications sales rep at Duncan Aviation’s Battle Creek, Mich., facility. “It also adds value by amortizing refurbishment costs over the aircraft life cycle and keeps the aircraft in pristine condition.” The company has developed an interior program that guarantees 14-day installation of new interior soft goods, including the total strip and refinish of cabinets, for the Learjet 45. George Bajo, Duncan Aviation completions sales rep, said the program hinges on planning and coordination between Duncan Aviation and the operator before any work begins..
