Million Air Dallas growing again

Million Air Dallas held a groundbreaking ceremony on October 25 for an expansion of its Addison Airport FBO complex. Plans call for a new hangar, FBO terminal and ramp to open in next year’s second quarter. The new 40,000-sq-ft hangar will accommodate Gulfstream’s new G650. The $4 million addition was necessary because Million Air Dallas’s charter fleet, which now numbers 20 aircraft, is growing.

The added space will be used to serve charter aircraft owners and customers, with a conference room, guest office, bar and lounge area, lobby and drive-up valet ramp service, according to the company. With the new hangar, the FBO will have doubled its capacity for a total of nine hangars at Addison. The ramp space will be ready for visitors to the 2011 Super Bowl XLV at Cowboy Stadium in Arlington on February 6.
