Touching Bases: Dozens of charter companies plan ACSF audits
The Air Charter Safety Foundation (ACSF) will conduct audits of 30 Part 135 charter operators this year, adding to the 12 that have thus far been audited.

The Air Charter Safety Foundation (ACSF) will conduct audits of 30 Part 135 charter operators this year, adding to the 12 that have thus far been audited. The latest to be added to the ACSF Industry Audit Standard (IAS) registry is M&N Aviation, based in Casper, Wyo. The ACSF audit is done every 24 months, and according to the foundation the ā€œgoal is to have IAS recognized as the universal benchmark
for Part 135 and 91K operators.ā€ The IAS is an in-depth evaluation of an operatorā€™s
regulatory compliance and safety
management system.
