The Professional Aviation Maintenance Association (PAMA) has hired Potomac Management Resources to provide day-to-day administrative and management assistance with member services, growth, financial development, communications and industry relations. PAMA recently ended its affiliation with the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) to focus exclusively on programs and support for aviation maintenance managers, aviation mechanics and the aviation maintenance industry.
“Under the agreement PAMA will retain its independence and 501(c)3 status, allowing it to advocate on behalf of the maintenance industry. Our new Washington, D.C.-area headquarters will give us greater access to government regulatory and legislative activities,” Clark Gordon, chairman of PAMA’s board of directors, told AIN.
