Business aviation flight services provider Arinc Direct has started offering electronic APIS (advanced passenger information system) reports for flights arriving or departing the U.S. and its territories. Effective May 18, U.S. Customs and Border Protection will require pilots of general aviation aircraft to electronically transmit passenger manifests at least 60 minutes before departure. APIS compliance until May 18 had been voluntary. Arinc Direct is providing demonstrations of the eAPIS online tool at its EBACE exhibit (Booth No. 575).
