Dallas Airmotive, a BBA Aviation Engine Repair and Overhaul (ERO) company, has moved its Phoenix regional turbine center from Scottsdale Airpark to a new facility next to Deer Valley Airport. At 7,500 sq ft, the new facility is twice the size of the Deer Valley building. âWe need this to accommodate the growth in demand for repair services and the technicians we added in 2008,â said Mike Cumnock, BBA Aviation ERO vice president of customer service and global regional turbine centers. The Phoenix center is one of 10 BBA facilities (nine in the U.S. and one in the UK) and offers authorized repair and overhaul on the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A and JT15D and Rolls-Royce 250. âOur new location will continue to offer rapid response throughout Phoenix and the Western region of the U.S.,â he said. âAnd now with more technical representatives, we will be able to provide service to even more operators.â
