UK-based executive charter operator Ocean Sky (Stand No. 632) has acquired Dean Aircraft Interiors for an undisclosed sum. It marks a continuation in the rapid expansion of Ocean Sky, which also has offices in Salzburg, Zurich and Moscow, as well as an FBO at Prestwick International Airport
in Scotland.
Kurosh Tehranchian, CEO of Ocean Sky, has described Manchester-based Dean as an outstanding company that he sees as a “perfect fit” with its new owner. To date Ocean Sky has been able to maintain the engines and airframes, but will now also include cabin interiors among its capabilities. “This gives us another skill in the private jet sector toward our goal of offering a full completion service,” said Tehranchian. “Dean Aircraft Interiors is an important piece of the jigsaw puzzle
for us to have in place and has been used to refurbish and repair the Ocean Sky fleet of owned and managed aircraft for a number of years.”
Dean holds EASA Part 21 and Part 145 approvals and
boasts skills acquired from many years’ experience in aircraft
interior refurbishment.
