Dubai-based Empire Aviation Group (EAG), founded just last year, is already laying plans for its expansion across the region. The company has appointed a representative sales agent in Qatar and is committed to a joint venture with an unnamed
partner in Saudi Arabia. The new joint-venture company is planned to replicate EAG’s business model and portfolio of services in Dubai, which includes aircraft sales and management. It will operate from a base in Riyadh, starting in the
middle of next year.

“The private air sector continues to develop quickly across the region with new world-class infrastructure being added,” said EAG executive director Paras Dhamecha. “Whilst economic activity may be slowing, we remain confident about the prospects for the medium to long term. Our new JV in Saudi Arabia will be a major step in our development into a regional force in private aviation.”
