AAI Acquisition, which bought the assets of bankrupt Adam Aircraft in April, now has about 200 employees and says that design, manufacture and test activities have resumed for the A700 very light jet. According to CEO Jack Braly, the FAA has agreed to accept A700 certification work previously completed by Adam Aircraft. The company anticipates FAA certification for the approximately $3 million twinjet in the first half of 2010, with EASA approval a year later.
