Magellan Jets announced launch of its Voyager private jet program, which deducts flight costs from a $250,000 membership fee. The Boston-based company, which does not own or operate aircraft, works with FAA Part 135 charter operators that meet ARG/US or Wyvern safety standards. Magellan offers access to large-cabin, super-midsize, midsize and small aircraft with as little as 10 hours’ notice; three aircraft upgrades per year; concierge service; one-way or round-trip pricing; and complimentary
in-flight catering. The company’s rates do not include aircraft repositioning fees or fuel surcharges. Magellan touted what it claims is the “first-ever on-time guarantee in the private jet service industry.” If your aircraft isn’t ready to leave at the scheduled time, you will receive a 10-percent discount on your next flight, according to company founder and CEO Joshua Hebert.
