In the official results of the 2008 AIN FBO Survey for the Americas, Caribbean and U.S. territories, Wilson Air Center in Memphis, Tenn., again tops the list, the only FBO with an overall average score of more than 9.00. Moving up to second place from last year’s third is Pentastar Aviation/Million Air Pontiac (Mich.), which swapped places with now third-place AirFlite of Long Beach, Calif. Kendall-Tamiami-based FalconTrust Air joins the FBO survey listing for the first time this year with a fourth-place ranking. Houston’s City of Sugar Land FBO moved up to fifth place from eighth last year, the only government-run facility to make it onto the Top 40 list this year and last. Business Jet Center’s Dallas Love Field FBO ranked number six this year, up from seventh last year, followed by Million Air Love Field, Banyan Air Services (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) and Premier Jet (Carlsbad, Calif.) all tied for seventh place. The former Million Air FBO at Minneapolis (Minn.) St. Paul Downtown-Holman Field took 10th place. That facility became a Signature Flight Support FBO in January. The survey results are based on nearly 2,000 AIN readers who submitted ratings of FBOs that they frequented last year.
