Trajen FBO Network, which late last year acquired ski-country’s Aspen Base Operation, has further enriched its portfolio of FBOs in another, very different, resort area. Last month, management of the growing chain announced it had purchased the Ranger Jet Center FBO at Kissimmee Gateway Airport near Orlando, Fla., home of Disney World, Universal Studios and several other vacation theme parks.

Trajen CEO and president Dan Bucaro said, “We look forward to joining the Orlando community and having our first location in Florida. Ranger has built a quality FBO and assembled a great team.” The FBO suffered severe hurricane damage in 2004 when a newly built hangar collapsed after three devastating storms in quick succession. That hangar has since been rebuilt.

Ranger Aviation will continue to develop other property at Kissimmee Gateway, most immediately the Jet Center complex with 60,000 sq ft of office, meeting room and restaurant space.

Based in Bryan, Texas, Trajen FBO Network now operates 20 FBOs in Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, Florida, Wyoming, California, Colorado, New York and Alaska, and is a portfolio company of The CapStreet Group of Houston, a private equity firm.
