Butler National’s Avcon Industries subsidiary has received an order to install its cargo-door modification on two Dassault Falcon 20s. The mod typically retails for $525,000, and the latest order will be fulfilled at Avcon’s modification center in Newton, Kan.

According to the company, the Wide Cargo Door offers greater accessibility and expanded airplane functionality, and is particularly suited to cargo operations requiring maximum access to the aircraft interior. The mod provides a commercial pallet-size loading entrance in the aircraft. Avcon owns more than 250 FAA STCs to modify and upgrade business and general aviation airplanes. The company’s focus is on regulatory solutions for business and cargo operations and special-mission modifications.
