Bombardier announced on Tuesday it is designating an aircraft dedicated to AOG parts delivery. At the same time it announced an improved facility. The company, which finished second-to-last ahead of only Sabreliner in last yearโs AIN Product Support Survey, tapped in to its national Flexjet web of fractional-owned aircraft and crews, allocating the equivalent of a 100-percent share of one Learjet 45. Bombardier said the aircraft will be available around the clock to support all Learjet, Challenger and Global customers whose aircraft are still under warranty. The new service is called Parts Express, and it is available immediately. Bombardier christened its newly expanded service center at Dallas Love Field the same day with a large party for employees and customers. The 100,000-sq-ft expansion increased the size of the previous facility by more than 60 percent.
