Initial feedback from the public has prompted the Department of Defense to rethink its November 18 announcement that it is removing certain flight information publications and charts from public sale effective October 1. Authorities have decided to open a public-comment period, and the DOD is now referring to the November decision as a “proposed” action and is accepting comments until June 30 via e-mail to aero.ocr@nga.mil.
