Euralair Airport Services (EAS) expects to move into new FBO premises at Le Bourget Airport at the end of this month or early June, following the sale of the FBO site it has occupied there for more than 40 years. Aéroports de Paris, the Paris area airports authority that owns the French capital’s dedicated business airport, has granted Antwerp-based Flying Group, a new Le Bourget entrant, a 25-year lease on the site where it will soon begin building a new facility. Alexandre Couvelaire, the founder and 100-percent owner of the Euralair SA holding company–the first business aviation operator to build a hangar at Le Bourget–told EBACE Convention News that EAS’s new facility will be located midway between the Air Museum at the airport’s main entry and its previous premises in the north of the airport. The totally refurbished facilities include a passenger lounge of more than 2,150 sq ft in front of a 107,500-sq-ft aircraft parking ramp. The site includes a heated hangar designed to accommodate aircraft up to the Boeing 767. EAS claims a 20-percent market share of Le Bourget traffic.
