Cessna Aircraft received orders here for 22 of its Citation-series jets in a number of deals totaling more than $360 million.

While several specific orders were named, a spokesman told NBAA Convention News that a majority of undisclosed orders received so far at the show were for the company’s new $11.945 million Citation XLS+.

Yesterday, aircraft management firm XOJet announced that it had ordered 12 new Cessna Citation Xs worth $250 million. Also, Cessna’s authorized sales representative for Scandinavia, Icecraft Ltd., signed contracts here for three Citation Sovereigns, three Citation XLS/ XLS+s, three Citation CJ2+s and one CJ1+, for a total value of about $110 million.

The new Cessna Citation CJ4 is scheduled to take flight during the first half of 2008 and enter service by early 2010, with an introductory price of $7.995 million in 2006 dollars. Cessna said that over the last several weeks it has received more than 70 orders for the CJ4..

Cessna also announced that it received orders for four Caravan turboprops, with three of them going to Germany and one to Russia.
