Keystone Helicopter is seeking an FAA production certificate to manufacture the S-76 and S-92 at its Coatesville, Pa. facility. Keystone is building a new facility known as the Heliplex at Coatesville. When complete it will cover 173,000 sq ft.

Sikorsky currently produces and delivers the two types at Stratford, Conn. Keystone expects to obtain the production certificate later this year, and Sikorsky then plans to locate S-76 and S-92 assembly there as delivery commitments warrant.

Sikorsky completed its acquisition of Keystone in December. The manufacturer delivered 49 commercial helicopters last year and continues to experience sales growth in its commercial product line.
