The old Alaska Airlines maintenance hangar at Oakland International Airport in the San Francisco Bay Area is now a clean corporate hangar operated by OAK FBO Business Jet Center. The 42,000-sq-ft hangar features 50-foot doors, high enough to fit a Boeing Business Jet and Gulfstream 550. Business Jet Center is signing up tenants for the hangar and building a new executive bathroom on the ground floor, according to Dave Mills, general manager of the FBO. “The hangar did not require any renovation beyond that,” he told AIN. “It is one of the best hangars on the North Field at Oakland.”
