Aerospace Products International, a wholly owned subsidiary of First Aviation Services, has opened its newest distribution and logistics center in Shanghai, China. Aerospace Products International (Shanghai) will enhance the product distribution services that API has provided in China since 2000 and allow API to serve as a major third-party logistics provider in the Asia-Pacific region.
The new facility is a foreign enterprise, 100 percent owned by First Aviation Services, API’s parent company. The Pudong International Airport facility is located in Shanghai’s WaiGaoQuao Free Trade Zone and will offer warehousing for API’s product distribution, third-party logistics services and import and export services. According to the company, it currently serves more than 400 customers in 34 countries throughout the region.
