Some seven years of development finally led to the first flight of the Farnborough Aircraft F1 Kestrel on July 29. At press time, the turboprop was making its way across the Atlantic Ocean on a trip from Bend, Ore., where the prototype was built, to the UK, where it will undergo further flight-testing.
