Aviation regulators need to be better able to exchange information about possible threats to flights over hostile territory, according to Emirates Airline CEO Sir Tim Clark. In a November 22 interview about the shooting down of a Malaysian Airlines airliner over Ukraine, Clark commented: “We could have done better as an industry in bringing together the information that was allowed to float around among us … What I am trying to crack is that ability for the airline community to take this information, irrespective of source … and not question where it came from.”
