Exhibiting as part of the French Pavilion at the Singapore Airshow, Cetim (Booth G12C), the French technical center of mechanical industries, is showcasing a variety of technical capabilities.

Established in 1965, Cetim supports aerospace companies with multidisciplinary skills that include engineering, digital expertise, and research and development capacity. Standing at what it describes as the “crossroads between research and industry,” Cetim and its subsidiaries support about 8,000 customers in more than 30 countries. Much of the focus is on work that addresses environmental and Industry 4.0 challenges

Cetim has two subsidiaries, one in Morocco (Cetim Maroc) and one in Singapore. The latter is Matcor Technology & Services, which specializes in materials and corrosion, including failure analysis. Matcor and Cetim are together highlighting four key areas during the Singapore Airshow. New aircraft generation looks at smart design, software solutions, new materials, noise reduction, and hydrogen tank concepts, among others.

The second area is aircraft readiness and availability, including topics such as smart testing, 3D scanning, predictive maintenance, and failure analysis. The companies are also highlighting technologies for the hangar and factory of the future, such as additive manufacture and the use of drones for scanning. The final area—the transformation of trades—looks at human resource potential and performance, including high-level training through the Cetim Academy 400 program.
