Newly Launched Aviation Channel Has Hours of Entertainment
Making its debut at Oshkosh, subscription content provider AeroCinema is aimed at the aviation enthusiast.
The Giclee canvas print "Release Your Brakes and Hunt For Heaven," by artist Williams S. Phillips will be given to one lucky AirVenture Oshkosh visitor. It depicts bomber training for the 1942 Doolittle raid and is worth more than $500.

Making its debut at this year’s EAA AirVenture show is subscription video-on-demand provider AeroCinema. The channel, dedicated to aviation enthusiasts, launched in March, with more than 400 never-before-seen aviation-themed programs including features, documentaries and profiles.

At Oshkosh, it will be screening a new documentary every day of the show at 8:30 a.m. in the SkyScape Theater (with a repeat at 4 p.m.), and in the Quonset hut visitors can see a video showing its brand and explaining pricing plans.

In partnership with Virginia Bader Fine Arts (Booth 1030), the company will also be conducting a prize drawing for a $500 aviation print canvas titled “Release Your Brakes and Hunt For Heaven,” as well as handing out aviation-themed DVDs and offering subscription discounts.
