Embraer SJC Now Authorized for AE3007 work

The Embraer Executive Jets service center in São José dos Campos, Brazil, is now an authorized Rolls-Royce line maintenance center for the AE3007 in the South American country. The agreement allows Embraer to perform Rolls-Royce’s warranty or CorporateCare program services, which covers the cost of replacement parts, labor and scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. AE3007s power the ERJ-135 and -145 regional jets and Legacy 600/650 business jets.

“The new partnership between Embraer and Rolls-Royce seeks to ensure efficient operations and convenience for our customers,” said Edson Carlos Mallaco, director of customer support and service at Embraer Executive Jets. According to Rolls-Royce, the AE3007 approval in Brazil establishes “the groundwork for all Embraer-owned service centers worldwide to follow suit.”

Besides the factory-owned service centers in São José dos Campos and Sorocaba, there are five factory-authorized centers in Brazil–in Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Curitiba, Goiânia and Recife–that service more than 160 Phenom and Legacy business jets operating in the country.
